Music:

Please Tell Me

Is a ‘Blue Wave’ song written by Tony Novarro. The lyrics initially could be interpreted as a plea not to leave in a traditional relationship. However Tony had written this song in memory of our friend and original drummer: Sal DiAngelo, who had died about 4 months after we recorded the initial rhythm tracks of Ivory Tower Project’s songs: “My Name” and “You Can See It In My Eyes”.

Mark Regula: Vocals, electric piano, bass, synthesizers, drums.
Tony Novarro: Electric guitars.
Frank Vella: Back vocals

Produced by: Tony Novarro & Mark Regula

Lyrics:

I heard you were leaving,
Please Tell Me it ain’t so
I heard you were leaving,
And you’re never coming back,
No you’re never coming back, anymore

Please Tell Me
You gotta’ tell Me
Tell me now

The days were few, the time was spent
Searching for a dream
Life’s unfair I can’t believe you are no longer here
You are no longer here, anymore

Please Tell Me, tell me it ain’t so
You gotta’ tell me, tell me it ain’t so
Please Tell Me, tell me it ain’t so
You gotta’ tell me, tell me it ain’t so

You dreamed about a life worth living
And watched the days drift by
I wish that I could stop the clock
And give you some more time
If I could give you some more time.

I heard you were leaving,
Please Tell Me it ain’t so
I heard you were leaving,
And you’re never coming back,
No you’re never coming back, anymore
